Highfield Hall, an 1878 mansion, was the large summer estate built by E. Pierson Beebe of Boston. It is the earliest example of the great “Golden Age” of resort architecture in Falmouth. It played a central role in Falmouth’s transformation to a fashionable summer resort. The mansion is located on six acres and was landscaped by noted landscape designer Ernest Bowditch.
